Content Guru is part of the Redwood Technologies Group and, together with its partner Wavenet, has developed and delivered NHS England's new, innovative Intelligent Routing Platform, designed to improve call handling waiting times for all callers to the UK’s 999 ambulance services. This new solution is helping to ensure that callers (who are often at their most vulnerable) can connect as quickly as possible.

Why entering?

When patients call 999 and request an ambulance they are often at their most vulnerable. This initiative was developed in partnership with NHS England and Ambulance service NHS Trusts and equivalent across the UK.
This is the first time that these types of technologies have been used at this scale and were mobilised during a period of increased pressure for NHS urgent and emergency care services.
While callers won’t know that their 999 call has been answered more quickly than before, the quicker that the call details are taken and the clinical need prioritised, the quicker an ambulance can be dispatched to respond to the caller’s needs.
