Mobilityways provides groundbreaking climate technology that helps employers measure, reduce and report their Scope 3 commuting emissions at scale. The Platform is the only software solution dedicated to decarbonising the commute. It provides full visibility of commuting challenges and identifies sustainable travel alternatives for employees to help employers reduce Scope 3 emissions in line with net zero goals.
The Platform comprises of 9 tools that allow large employers to collect, analyse and act on commuting data quickly, easily and at scale without the added cost of additional resources that would be required without it.
From creating persuasive business cases for implementing sustainable travel initiatives to building car-sharing communities that save users more than £700 a month, Mobilityways promotes and shares best practices across its partners.
Categorised as Scope 3 emissions, commuting emissions account for 5% of the UK’s total emissions - 18 billion kg of CO2e annually. Often overlooked, these emissions increasingly need to be spotlighted following organisations setting ambitious net zero targets. These targets cannot be met unless commuting emissions are addressed, particularly with many employers mandating a return to the office.
Last year proved to be a pivotal year for the business, enabling us to grow our team and technology offerings and maximise the impact we can deliver to our clients. Celebrating these wins, we entered several awards and have since found this is a successful method of putting Scope 3 commuting emissions on the agenda.
Raising our profile in and beyond the transport and mobility communities has enabled to be recognised as thought leaders and helped us to reach new audiences. We recently hosted our third annual online conference, ZC3 (Zero Carbon Commuting). It was attended by more than a thousand delegates engaging in 6 hours of sessions delivered by experts across government, politics and academia. We hope winning this ward will continue to add to this momentum, enabling us to continue to grow our offering to help more customers meet their net zero goals.
